Indian Classical Dance and its Rich Tradition

Indian dance has a very rich custom behavior. The custom of Indian traditional and individuals dancing has been thoroughly mentioned in Natya Shastra, in the earlier days of the cinema, performers mimed the story and the performers performed the conversation with the instrumentalists associated with them. Though the performers and the instrumentalists performed significant tasks, it was the performers who filled a central position. Typically, most of these performers were attached to the temples.

Being a wide nation, the different places of Indian have given their own shade to this historical traditional custom. Some of the recognized traditional designs consist of Kuchipudi dance from Andhra Pradesh, Bharatanatyam dance from Tamil Nadu, Odissi dance from Orissa, Kathakali dance from Kerala, Kathak dance from Pakistan and northern Indian, and Manipuri dance from of Northeast Indian. There are some other designs like Mohiniaattam from Kerala and Sattriya from Assam. All these traditional dance designs have a powerful local relationship. However, none of them can be known as the associate of the whole subcontinent.
