'Odissi' has been one of the traditional dances of India. It is an historical dancing type that comes from Orissa at the east coast of India.  This dance is basic of worship to the Orrisan temples. Classical Dance in India: Odissi Dance, Odissi Costumes, Odissi jewellery



Odissi is one of the popular traditional Indian dances from Orissa state in India. Odissi is a very motivated, enthusiastic, delighted and intense form of dancing. Like most of the South Indian traditional dances of Indian Odissi too had its source in the Devadasi custom. Orissa state has a beautiful culture history.
